WPP Media, the AI-driven media operating unit of WPP, is hiring a Cross Discipline - Associate Director for its offices in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. This role sits within the Global Operations Centre (GOC) and involves working closely with teams across the US, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact digital marketing solutions. As an Associate Director, you will act as the primary point of contact for key digital channels like Search, Social, Programmatic Buying Units, Ad Operations, or Commerce. A normal day in this role involves overseeing campaign activation and performance, driving operational excellence by implementing workflows and standard operating procedures, and managing stakeholder relationships across global markets. You will also lead, mentor, and develop a team of subject matter experts while championing automation and innovation to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead and primary point of contact for key digital marketing channels.
• Oversee the activation and optimization of campaigns across multiple channels and designated markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal market teams, agency partners, and cross-functional groups.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable workflows and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of subject matter experts.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate on onboarding new scopes of work.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the overall smooth running of operations.

Requirements

• Graduation or Post Graduation Degree in any stream.
• 8+ years of professional experience in digital media execution.
• Expertise in executing on respective channel platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience managing multi-location media activation teams.
• Experience training and maintaining quality standards at scale.
• Experience providing service to local teams from a centralized location.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good to have

• Working knowledge in HubSpot, Smartly, 4C, or Scibids.
• Working knowledge in third-party tools like Datorama or Google Studio.
• Passion for everything digital with an active interest in online advertising industry trends.
