WPP Media, the AI-driven media operating unit of WPP, is looking for a Cross Discipline - Senior Manager to join the Global Operations Centre (GOC). In this role, you will be part of a team that brings together media, data, and partnerships to help the world's leading brands navigate change and achieve growth through platforms like WPP Open. A normal day in this position involves building strong relationships with regional Nexus-Hub teams, managing small to large teams, overseeing team workloads, and ensuring high-quality, consistent work delivery. You will serve as the main point of escalation for your channel, resolve operational challenges, and support leads in capacity planning and resource management. Furthermore, you will focus heavily on training, mentoring, and providing regular feedback to foster career development and team growth while upholding best practices and platform expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with counterparts in Nexus-Hub regional teams
• Lead the training, growth, and career development of your team
• Enforce best practices focusing on platform expertise, consistency, and quality
• Serve as the point of escalation for your channel and resolve challenges
• Oversee small to large team management and ensure consistent work delivery
• Provide timely and actionable feedback, guidance, and recognition to staff
• Support leads in capacity planning and resource management
• Communicate strongly and effectively across all organizational levels

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
• 6+ years of professional experience in digital media execution
• Expertise in at least one biddable media platform among Google Ads, Meta, and DV 360
• Hands-on experience across other platforms like SA 360, Bing Search, DCM, Amazon ads, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience managing multi-location media activation teams
• Experience training and maintaining quality standards at scale
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats

Good to have

• Experience providing service to local teams from a centralized location
• Active interest and understanding of online advertising industry trends
