As a Data Scientist – Analytics, you will join a team dedicated to delivering creative personalisation at scale and transformational growth for clients through data and intelligence. A normal day in this role involves working closely with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to support key data science initiatives. You will use Python, Jupyter, and Google Cloud Platform services to preprocess and analyse large and complex datasets, design and execute A/B tests, and build algorithms. Additionally, your daily routine includes identifying trends and patterns, optimising marketing campaigns and business processes, and helping present clear insights to internal stakeholders while continuously expanding your capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing data science algorithms for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to design and execute A/B tests.
• Utilise Python and Jupyter notebooks to preprocess, clean, and analyse large datasets.
• Identify trends and patterns in data to inform strategic decision-making and business processes.
• Contribute to the optimisation of marketing campaigns using data-driven approaches.
• Support the presentation of findings and insights clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance data science capabilities.

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and visualisation.
• Hands-on experience using Jupyter notebooks.
• Familiarity with GCP services including BigQuery, Google Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques like supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, and regression models.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Good communication skills to articulate findings and support senior team members.
