Backed by major investors and trusted globally, DevRev is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Strategist in Chennai to act as the lead technical strategist embedded with customers. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design of AI-driven business transformation projects, translating customer requirements into scalable agent-based solutions using the DevRev platform. A normal day involves partnering closely with customer stakeholders, collaborating with pre-sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams, architecting workflows and integrations, overseeing solution implementation with Applied AI engineers, and ensuring adherence to performance, security, and compliance standards. You will also travel up to 80% for on-site implementations and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business domains, systems, and OKRs/KPIs to guide solution design.
• Design and document AI-driven workflows, agents, skills, and system integrations.
• Partner with customer stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
• Bridge the gap between pre-sales, customer success, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Applied AI engineers to oversee solution implementation.
• Support pre-sales by scoping opportunities and defining technical requirements.
• Ensure all solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years in solution architecture or consulting roles focused on enterprise-scale implementations.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, cloud platforms, and modern integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of customer priorities to translate business needs into technical execution plans.
• Exceptional ability to convey complex technical and business concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project planning tools and methodologies.
• Proven ability to define and track success through OKRs, KPIs, and business outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
