As a Forward Deployed Architect at DevRev, you will act as a hands-on senior technical architect within the Applied AI Engineering team, managing end-to-end design and delivery of AI-driven business transformation projects. A normal day in this role involves working closely with pre-sales and post-sales teams, translating complex business needs into architectural solutions, and building proofs-of-concept and custom integrations through hands-on coding. You will own technical customer relationships, configure intelligent agents on the DevRev platform, debug integration challenges, and partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of AI-driven business transformation projects as a hands-on technical architect.
• Collaborate with pre-sales to scope technical integration and implementation strategies.
• Build, configure, and launch intelligent agents using the DevRev platform to solve customer problems.
• Connect AI agents with external platforms like CRMs, APIs, and databases for workflow automation.
• Lead live demos, build rapid proofs-of-concept, and iterate solutions based on customer feedback.
• Define project plans and drive execution of custom integrations and solution prototypes.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on AI agent architecture, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting.
• Strong coding proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, along with data structures and algorithms.
• Applied AI knowledge including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evaluations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD and containers.
• Experience integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, and event or data pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Advanced degrees or certifications in AI or architecture frameworks like TOGAF and SAFe
