DevRev is creating the future of work by developing Computer, an AI teammate platform that unifies company data sources, tools, and workflows into a single AI-ready ecosystem. As a Forward Deployed Engineer in Mumbai, you will collaborate closely with pre- and post-sales customer experience teams. Your primary focus will be designing and building solutions over the core platform using Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript. A major part of your daily routine involves constructing Knowledge Graphs, integrating DevRev with external SaaS and non-saaS platforms through webhooks and APIs, and utilizing your technical expertise to shape how customers use AI, analytics, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting DevRev to client tech stacks.
• Connect DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS platforms utilizing APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
• Optimize AI performance through prompt engineering, semantic search engine fine-tuning, and generative AI techniques.
• Write SQL queries, analyze data, and build dashboards to provide actionable insights for customers.
• Develop rapid proofs-of-concept, host live technical demos, and refine solutions based on feedback.
• Collaborate across functions with engineering, product, customer success, support, and revenue teams.
• Guide customers through critical technical workflows like code repository integrations and advanced configurations.
• Travel up to 80% of the time for on-site implementations, technical workshops, and customer engagements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG frameworks, and function calling.
• Experience with large-scale data synchronization, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience deploying on serverless and edge platforms with modern DevOps practices.
• Skilled in data mapping, schema alignment, data modeling, and graph data structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Good to have

• Proficiency in Go programming language.
• Prior customer-facing experience in a technical role.
