On a normal day, your responsibilities will involve collaborating with architecture teams and technical leads to discuss and elaborate fraud initiatives, solution design, and aligning technical roadmaps. You will lead software implementation throughout the SDLC, review functional and non-functional requirements with business analysts and product owners, support production applications, and guide your team through complex problem-solving. This role requires working with UK business hours from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST, blending teamwork, innovation, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architecture and Technical Leads to design and elaborate fraud initiatives and solutions.
• Contribute to the Technical Lead/Analyst Guild by recommending architecture best practices, standards, and patterns.
• Lead software implementation throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Review functional and non-functional requirements with business analysts and architects to define and deliver optimal solutions.
• Manage project constraints and dependencies while supporting the core team's working practices.
• Provide support for production fraud applications, prioritize incidents, and handle technical escalations.
• Coordinate and execute technical testing, including destructive, high availability, and performance tests.

Requirements

• Bring 8+ years of professional experience in software development and technical leadership.
• Strong technical background with expertise in Java 8+, OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Extensive experience with API development, RESTful APIs, Microservice architecture, and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Open API, OAuth2, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, Github, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, database architecture, and distributed transaction management.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence tools.
• Openness to work with UK Business Time from 2:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to lead multiple workstreams in parallel.

Good to have

• Experience in delivering Fraud related initiatives or possessing fraud functional knowledge.
• Experience working within AWS along with AWS certification.
• Experience with Kanban methodologies.
• Solution architecture capabilities.
