As the Lead, Data Validation Specialist based in Pune, you will oversee a team of specialists responsible for ensuring financial data accuracy and integrity during new client onboarding. This is a non-client-facing role focused on the behind-the-scenes mechanics of data conversion. A normal day involves managing daily workflows, auditing data validation projects, driving process improvements, maintaining documentation, collaborating with cross-functional global teams like Sales and Engineering, and performing hands-on reviews and reconciliations of client data alongside your leadership duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the career development of a team of Data Validation Specialists
• Manage work allocation, prioritization, and execution to ensure on-time project delivery
• Review and audit data validation projects to ensure high quality and adherence to best practices
• Drive process improvements to enhance scalability, increase accuracy, and reduce turnaround times
• Develop and maintain documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams including Sales, Client Solutions, Product, and Engineering
• Maintain a personal caseload by performing hands-on reviews and reconciliations of client data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Business, Finance, Math, Economics, or a data-oriented field
• 3+ years of experience in data validation, financial operations, or data quality assurance
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to maintain accuracy in high-volume data environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and influence across teams
• Proficiency with spreadsheets such as Excel, internal tools, and web-based platforms
• Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and comfort with structured, repetitive work
• Legal authorization to work in India on the first day of employment without visa sponsorship

Good to have

• 1+ year of people leadership or team coordination experience
• Familiarity with financial data and the ability to quickly learn new systems
