Kaseya is looking for a Manager for Software Development Engineering in Test to lead the quality engineering and test automation organization in Pune, India. Kaseya is a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software that supports Managed Service Providers and internal IT organizations globally. In this role, you will lead SDET and automation engineering teams, define test architecture, and drive quality strategy for endpoint management, device management, and enterprise SaaS platform solutions. A normal day in this role involves managing engineering teams, establishing quality engineering best practices, driving test automation roadmaps, partnering with cross-functional product and engineering teams, participating in architecture reviews, and championing the adoption of AI-powered development and test automation techniques to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams of SDETs, automation engineers, and technical leads.
• Build, mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of quality ownership.
• Define and execute the organization's quality engineering vision and test automation roadmap.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Support, Operations, and Security teams.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks.
• Ensure validation of endpoint agent behavior across supported operating systems.
• Champion the adoption of AI coding assistants and automation tools throughout the quality engineering lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering, SDET, quality engineering, or automation engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering, SDET, or QA automation teams.
• Strong experience building and scaling test automation frameworks and engineering validation platforms.
• Solid software development experience using C#, Java, Kotlin, or related programming languages.
• Deep understanding of at least one major operating system platform: Windows, Linux, or macOS.
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or endpoint management products.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and release management.
