Kaseya Careers is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its RMM Backend team in Pune, India. Kaseya is a leading global provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, serving managed service providers and internal IT organizations across more than twenty countries. In this hands-on role, you will help design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, and cloud-native platform capabilities. A normal day involves writing clean Java code, owning features across the entire software lifecycle, building automated validation and testing frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting production incidents. Engineers at Kaseya own both development and quality, combining strong engineering fundamentals with modern AI-assisted development practices to ensure high platform reliability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed applications using Java and modern cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain highly available SaaS platform capabilities and microservices architectures.
• Own features throughout the entire lifecycle from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Develop automated coverage for functional, integration, API, regression, resiliency, and system-level scenarios.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that automate build, testing, deployment, security scanning, and release processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate software development, testing, debugging, and code analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Security, Architecture, and Engineering.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, enterprise platforms, or cloud-native services.
• 5+ years of experience developing backend services using Java.
• Strong proficiency with Java and modern backend development frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience building automated test frameworks and validation tooling using technologies such as JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as coding assistants, code generation tools, or intelligent debugging solutions.

Good to have

• Experience with relational database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Hibernate.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized development or testing environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
