Kaseya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Pune location to join a global company known for providing AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity solutions for managed service providers and internal IT teams. In this role, you will help shape technical strategies and provide leadership for large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures. Your daily responsibilities involve driving engineering excellence, improving system scalability and reliability, advancing AI-assisted development, identifying high-impact technical opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership. You will work on designing robust platform capabilities, mitigating systemic risks, and setting high technical standards across the organization. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures.
• Define long-term technical strategy and align engineering direction with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development to enhance engineering effectiveness.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership on technical priorities, roadmaps, and architecture decisions.
• Improve observability, performance, reliability, and operational maturity in production systems.
• Define modernization strategies and technical debt reduction roadmaps.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and establish high design and coding standards.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience driving technical strategy.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Deep experience designing large-scale distributed systems or platform architectures.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and security best practices.

Good to have

• Experience with deep observability, reliability engineering, and incident response.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and organizational AI strategy.
• Proficiency in Rust, C#, or JavaScript with API development experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Background in secure coding, threat modeling, and technical due diligence.
