Arcesium LLC is hiring a Product Lead - Opterra - Financial Reporting for its Product Management Group based in Gurugram or Hyderabad. Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that builds advanced solutions and infrastructure for sophisticated financial institutions like major hedge funds. In this full-time role, you will join a team responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of middle- and back-office applications. A normal day in this position involves defining product strategies, conducting market and competitor research, creating product roadmaps, and collaborating closely with engineering and architecture teams to design and build financial reporting solutions. You will articulate business cases, evaluate in-flight features, estimate timelines, and work alongside other product managers on cross-functional projects. This opportunity allows you to contribute to cutting-edge financial technology while working with industry experts to shape the next generation of products on the company's platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate product vision and strategy for financial reporting solutions aligned with company goals.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather client feedback to identify product opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap by prioritizing features based on strategic value and feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate product specifications into functional designs and software.
• Evaluate progress of features in flight using test cases to ensure compliance with the original vision.
• Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets, and prepare project plans and release notes.
• Partner with other product managers on cross-functional projects to deliver comprehensive business solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 2+ years in product management.
• Demonstrated experience with financial reporting for hedge funds or alternative asset managers.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, fund accounting, and hedge fund regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills for examining counterparty statements.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in software development environments.
• Outstanding academic background with a passion for high-tech software development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong critical thinking capabilities.
