The company is expanding its operations and looking for a Senior Product Specialist for the Opterra platform focusing on Market Data & Vendor Integration. In this role, you will take charge of market-data and vendor integrations with providers such as Bloomberg, LSEG/Reuters, and FactSet. A normal day involves designing the next-generation Market Data Connectivity system featuring AI, configurability, and transparency, defining data mappings and transformation rules, and collaborating closely with developers and architects. You will translate business requirements into user stories, manage the product backlog, conduct sprint planning, drive UAT and QA test cases, and act as a domain subject matter expert to resolve data discrepancies and understand downstream platform impacts.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for market-data and vendor integrations across Bloomberg, LSEG/Reuters, and FactSet.
- Shape the next-generation Market Data Connectivity system focusing on AI, configurability, and data lineage.
- Define data mappings, transformation rules, validations, and integration requirements.
- Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery.
- Drive UAT, data validation, QA test-case definition, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Act as the domain SME for market and reference data, identifying edge cases.
Requirements
- 2 + years of working experience integrating data from major vendors like Bloomberg, LSEG/Reuters, or FactSet.
- Strong grasp of financial instruments, corporate actions, and structured products.
- Solid understanding of Security Master, Reference Data, and Market Data.
- Working knowledge of APIs, data integration, lineage, and data quality.
- Proven product ownership and Agile delivery experience including backlog management.
- Ability to combine domain expertise with hands-on execution.
