Product Lead - Private Credit (Direct Lending)

Arcesium LLC is a global financial technology company that creates advanced solutions for sophisticated financial institutions. They are currently looking for a Product Lead for Private Credit (Direct Lending) to join their team in Hyderabad. In this individual contributor role, you will help build and evolve the company's Private Credit capabilities. A normal day involves working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and client development teams. You will drive the product roadmap from deal-close to post-close workflows, including deal onboarding, loan administration, portfolio monitoring, and covenant management. Your daily tasks will include defining product features, designing scalable capabilities, creating business scenarios, testing calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new product features from prototype to production readiness while helping clients achieve transformational business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Private Credit product roadmap by turning strategy and client needs into prioritized capabilities.
• Manage product definition and design alongside Engineering and QA through development, launch, and iteration.
• Collaborate with clients and design partners to validate direction and build scalable capabilities.
• Create business scenarios and test cases to ensure the product correctly handles real-world credit structures.
• Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Marketing teams on product positioning, client demos, and go-to-market strategies.
• Conduct competitive analysis and help prioritize R&D investments.
• Build prototypes for workflows and calculations using AI-assisted coding and modern development tools.
• Define AI-enabled features to interpret credit agreements, compliance certificates, and borrower reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on private credit experience with exposure to investment lifecycles and workflows.
• Expertise in private credit areas such as direct lending, asset-based finance, or structured credit.
• Working knowledge of covenant monitoring, compliance certificates, borrowing bases, and loan lifecycle events.
• Familiarity with cash waterfalls, priority of payments, and portfolio or collateral surveillance.
• Ability to read credit agreements and determine what products must capture, calculate, and monitor.
• Strong Excel and financial-modeling skills for validating covenants, waterfalls, or similar calculations.
• Ability to work directly with data, with strong SQL experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex credit concepts clearly.

• Product management experience
• Familiarity with scripting, APIs, or low-code tools
• Experience with platforms like Wall Street Office, Allvue, Solvas, or iLEVEL
• Experience using generative AI tools for prototyping
• Bachelor's degree or professional qualifications like CFA, CA, MBA, or FRM
