GHX is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join their product development team in Hyderabad, working in a hybrid setup. GHX is a healthcare business and data automation company that empowers healthcare organizations with cloud-based supply chain technology, analytics, and services to improve patient care and reduce operational costs. In this role, you will work on a cutting-edge LLM-powered document understanding platform focused on classification, structured data extraction, and intelligent orchestration. A normal day in this high-impact position involves owning the full AI lifecycle from initial problem framing to production deployment. Initially, your focus will center on prompt engineering and evaluation systems to build a strong quality foundation. Over time, the responsibilities expand into building multi-agent orchestration workflows, system architecture design, and migrating traditional rule-based systems into robust LLM-driven pipelines. You will apply strong software engineering principles to develop production-grade APIs, manage the prompt lifecycle, create ground truth datasets, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design precise, structured prompts for diverse document classification and extraction tasks.
• Build automated evaluation pipelines and maintain ground truth datasets to assess LLM outputs.
• Develop multi-agent workflows and integrate tool-use patterns for document processing.
• Write maintainable, testable Python code applying Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Develop and maintain production-grade REST APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and system observability.
• Translate product requirements into technical architectures while bridging business and AI systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with Python.
• Advanced expertise in prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
• Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure AI.
• Experience in AI agent orchestration and ground truth dataset design.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles.
• REST API development experience.
• Familiarity with version control using Git, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
