As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at GHX in Hyderabad, you will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering group focused on AI-augmented automation and document understanding. GHX is a healthcare technology company that connects providers, suppliers, and partners to simplify healthcare business and improve patient outcomes through cloud-based supply chain solutions. In this role, you will manage three core areas: platform engineering, product-line delivery teams, and a Human-in-the-Loop application team. Your normal day involves setting technical direction for shared platforms, guiding architectural decisions, managing vendor relationships, balancing platform priorities with product delivery, and collaborating closely with business, product, and operations stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team spanning platform engineering, product delivery, and HiTL/analytics through team leads and senior engineers.
• Set technical direction for shared platform capabilities including AI/agents, infrastructure, security, and cost optimization.
• Manage vendor relationships for external development partners, defining interface contracts and holding delivery leads accountable.
• Guide architectural and design decisions across product-line teams to ensure consistency and reuse.
• Champion AI-augmented engineering practices and responsible LLM tooling adoption across all teams.
• Interface directly with business, product, and operations stakeholders to align priorities and resolve conflicts.
• Establish operational excellence standards including robust monitoring, logging, alerting, and CI/CD adoption.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years managing engineering managers, team leads, or senior tech leads.
• Experience running 2 to 3 teams with a shared platform layer and independent delivery teams or pods.
• Strong background in cloud-native, microservices-based architecture on AWS or Azure.
• Experience building document understanding or intelligent document processing systems at production scale.
• Solid experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production software at a platform level serving multiple consuming teams.
• Technical familiarity with backend development like Python/Java and FastAPI, along with cloud platforms, databases, and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with frontend technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with LLM tooling and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Pydantic.
