As a Senior BSA - Integration & Business Applications Engineer at Diligent Corporation in Bengaluru, you will design, build, maintain, and support scalable integration solutions connecting cloud and on-premises applications. Diligent is an AI leader in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions, helping over a million users clarify risk and elevate governance through the Diligent One Platform. In this role, you will work with Boomi, Workato, AWS, APIs, and enterprise applications to automate workflows, improve data quality, and enable AI-driven innovation. A normal day involves collaborating with departments like Finance, Sales, Product, and Engineering, building secure integration workflows, performing data mapping and troubleshooting, and providing structured Tier 1 support for Atlassian applications such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using Boomi, Workato, AWS, APIs, and webhooks.
• Build secure, scalable APIs and data transformations across platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Jira.
• Apply integration patterns including API-led integration, scheduled workflows, and event-driven processing.
• Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, error handling, testing, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production integrations, diagnose root causes, optimize performance, and maintain documentation.
• Provide structured Tier 1 support for Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence by triaging and resolving tickets.
• Contribute to analytics, AI, automation, and process-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi and Workato.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, or another programming or scripting language.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian, and AWS.
• Experience troubleshooting production integrations and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to have

• Experience with AI technologies and data analytics in enterprise environments.
• Boomi Professional Developer, Workato Automation Pro, AWS, Atlassian, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience supporting Jira, JSM, and Confluence workflows and request types.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native integration architectures.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security controls.
