As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer based in Bangalore, you will play a foundational role in the InfoSec organization by owning the security posture of cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments. On a normal day, you will design cloud security architecture, partner with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, manage vulnerabilities for containers and Kubernetes, handle incident response, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape security controls largely from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud security architecture across AWS or GCP including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption.
- Build and tune cloud security posture management and threat detection capabilities.
- Partner with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Manage vulnerabilities and hardening for cloud workloads, containers, and Kubernetes environments.
- Support incident response and forensics for cloud-based security events.
- Execute cybersecurity initiatives from identification through implementation and closure.
- Conduct security reviews and assist in tracking remediation for infrastructure risks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in security engineering with 3+ years focused on cloud security in AWS or GCP.
- Deep hands-on experience with IAM design, network security, and container/Kubernetes security.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code security such as Terraform and policy-as-code tools.
- Experience with CSPM or CNAPP tools like Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or native cloud tooling.
- Scripting and automation ability using Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering and leadership.
Good to have
- Experience in telco, satellite, or regulated critical-infrastructure environments.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS/GCP security specialties or CCSP.
