Everbridge is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Bengaluru for a full-time role. This position involves building, designing, and maintaining secure, high-performance backend services alongside scalable frontend solutions. A normal day in this role consists of developing robust microservices, building GraphQL and RESTful APIs, and implementing frontend features utilizing modern frameworks. Team members also engage in architecture discussions, participate in technical design reviews, and leverage AI-assisted tools to speed up coding, testing, and debugging. Additionally, the role involves driving system reliability, handling observability and monitoring, participating in production support and on-call rotations, and mentoring fellow engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Scala.
• Develop high-performance frontend interfaces using Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Build and maintain GraphQL APIs, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Implement Keycloak IAM integration for secure user authentication and authorization.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to speed up coding, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Drive service reliability, observability, automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and on-call production support.
• Mentor and support other engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java and Scala development.
• Strong expertise in frontend development using Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and secure software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Good to have

• Working knowledge of modern frontend development practices.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications, agents, and automation workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
