Kaseya is looking for a Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering in Test to lead the quality engineering and test automation organization in Pune, India. A normal day involves leading engineering teams, driving quality objectives, participating in architecture and design reviews, championing AI-powered quality engineering practices, partnering with cross-functional product and engineering teams, and overseeing automated testing across operating systems and SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of SDETs, automation engineers, and technical leads.
- Define and execute the organization's quality engineering vision and test automation roadmap.
- Lead the design and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks.
- Ensure validation of endpoint agent behavior across supported operating systems.
- Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical planning.
- Champion the adoption of AI coding assistants and automation tools.
- Drive root-cause analysis efforts for complex production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering, SDET, quality engineering, or automation engineering experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing software engineering, SDET, or QA automation teams.
- Strong experience building and scaling test automation frameworks and engineering validation platforms.
- Solid software development experience using C#, Java, Kotlin, or related programming languages.
- Deep understanding of at least one major operating system platform: Windows, Linux, or macOS.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or endpoint management products.
