A normal day involves collaborating with engineering teams to design authentication capabilities, gathering requirements from enterprise customers, analyzing product metrics, and aligning cross-functional teams across Security, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver scalable zero-trust solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete identity and access management product roadmap to deliver secure enterprise authentication features.
- Collaborate with engineering to build and improve native authentication and protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
- Gather discovery and requirements from enterprise clients regarding compliance, identity provider integrations, and zero trust needs.
- Write product specifications and user stories to turn complicated identity protocols into scalable platform features.
- Drive alignment across Security, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to speed up enterprise adoption.
- Review performance metrics, competitive positioning, and user feedback to enhance IAM features and minimize authentication friction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience working as a Technical Product Manager handling identity and access management products.
- Extensive background in enterprise identity and access management, user authentication, or identity provider software.
- Technical familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and federated identity frameworks.
- Demonstrated capability to partner with engineering teams to set technical requirements and build secure solutions.
Good to have
- Familiarity with zero trust architecture concepts and deployment strategies.
- Prior work with cloud identity providers including Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or Auth0.
- Experience in cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, or enterprise security product management.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Salesforce or ServiceNow.
