Ensono, an expert technology adviser and managed service provider, is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer for its locations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune. As a dedicated team helping organizations optimize systems across hybrid environments, Ensono accelerates digital transformation through consulting, cloud migration, and application modernization. In this role, you will act as a ServiceNow ITOM SME focusing on Event Management to enable proactive monitoring, alert correlation, and incident reduction. A normal day involves designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow Event Management solutions, building integrations with monitoring tools, developing automated remediation workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate monitoring needs into effective technical solutions. You will also troubleshoot event processing issues, analyze alert generation anomalies, create technical documentation, and ensure platform stability through upgrades and patching.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Event Management solutions including event rules and alert correlation rules.
• Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and various third-party monitoring tools.
• Work closely with the Discovery team to ensure accurate configuration item relationships for event impact analysis.
• Design and implement automated remediation workflows utilizing Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot event processing failures, alert generation anomalies, and platform stability issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand monitoring requirements and provide guidance on ITOM best practices.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.
• Strong understanding of Event Management, Alert Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
• Hands-on experience configuring event rules, alert correlation rules, and event connectors.
• Experience integrating third-party monitoring and observability platforms with ServiceNow.
• Practical knowledge of MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform administration, upgrades, and patching.

Good to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• ServiceNow ITOM certifications.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale Event Management implementations and operational support engagements.
