At Kaseya, a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, the Senior Software Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining endpoint management agents across multiple platforms like Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile. Kaseya serves Managed Service Providers and internal IT organizations globally, helping them secure and automate IT environments. In this hands-on position, a normal day involves designing and implementing new features for endpoint agents, writing clean code, building automated tests and validation frameworks, and ensuring a quality-first mindset throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Engineers own their solutions from initial design to deployment and production support. You will collaborate closely with various teams, investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to build reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions that protect global IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for endpoint agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code supporting monitoring, patching, and device management.
• Own features through the entire lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and production support.
• Build automated tests, validation frameworks, and test coverage for functional and system-level scenarios.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Cloud Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience developing system software, endpoint software, or platform services.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for building production-grade applications.
• Experience building automated tests and validation capabilities within the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Windows system programming concepts such as Win32 APIs, Windows Services, WMI, and Registry operations.
• Strong knowledge of operating system fundamentals including processes, threads, filesystems, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of software quality engineering principles, test automation, and CI/CD practices.

Good to have

• Experience with RMM, UEM, EDR, XDR, endpoint security, or device management products.
• Knowledge of C, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple MDM, Android Enterprise, or Linux management platforms.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, AppleScript, or other scripting technologies.
• Familiarity with endpoint telemetry, diagnostics, observability, and monitoring systems.
