As a Senior Software Engineer based in Bengaluru, you will play a key role in developing innovative features enjoyed by millions of users. A normal day in this position involves writing code using languages like Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript, tackling large engineering challenges, and building quick prototypes. You will also perform design and code reviews, maintain live game health, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams such as product management, UI/UX, art, and QA. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior engineers and applying engineering best practices to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and measurability across games.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and innovative features played by millions using Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Follow engineering best practices to guarantee performance, reliability, and measurability.
• Tackle large problems and break them down for others to implement.
• Perform design and code reviews.
• Take responsibility for the health of live games.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like PM, UI/UX, Art, and QA.
• Mentor junior engineers on the team.
• Build prototypes quickly through a hands-on approach.

Requirements

• Hold a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Possess 4-8 years of professional experience in C#, C++, Javascript, Android, iOS, React, or Java.
• Demonstrate solid fundamental programming skills including algorithms, data structures, OOP, OS, Networking, and AWS Cloud.
• Bring strong analytical, programming, and debugging capabilities.
• Have experience with source control management and conducting code reviews.
• Display good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.
