In this hands-on position, a normal day involves designing and implementing new features, writing clean and scalable code, building automated tests and validation frameworks simultaneously with features, investigating production issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and collaborating across teams such as Product, Support, and Security. Engineers at Kaseya own the entire software lifecycle from conception to production support, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to drive efficiency, reliability, and security at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new endpoint agent features across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
• Own features through the complete lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and production support.
• Build automated tests, validation frameworks, and automated coverage for functional and regression scenarios.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
• Improve agent stability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Develop integrations with operating system management, device management APIs, and security frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Cloud Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in system software, endpoint software, or platform services.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for building production-grade applications and services.
• Experience building automated tests and validation capabilities within the software development lifecycle.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks using tools like xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience with Windows system programming concepts including Win32 APIs, Windows Services, WMI, and Registry operations.
• Strong knowledge of operating system fundamentals such as processes, threads, filesystems, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like coding assistants or intelligent debugging solutions.

Good to have

• Experience with RMM, UEM, EDR, XDR, or device management products.
• Knowledge of C, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple MDM, Android Enterprise, or Linux management platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting technologies like PowerShell, Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
• Familiarity with endpoint telemetry, diagnostics, observability, and monitoring systems.
