StockX is hiring an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Bangalore, India, to join its innovative Engineering team. StockX is a technology leader operating an online platform that connects global buyers and sellers of consumer goods like sneakers, apparel, electronics, and collectibles using dynamic pricing and real-time data. In this role, you will be part of the Experience Team (XT) focusing on payments, user identity, and order management flows. A normal day involves collaborating closely with product managers and software engineers, preparing test plans, writing and automating test cases for modern web and mobile platforms, validating frontend functionality against backend systems, performing various types of testing, participating in sprint ceremonies, and raising defects to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver quality software.
• Derive scenarios from PRDs and prepare detailed test plans.
• Automate test cases for Web, iOS, and Android using WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium.
• Validate frontend data against backend responses via API checks and logs.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Run tests on cloud platforms like LambdaTest, BrowserStack, and SauceLabs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and raise defects clearly.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Web and Mobile Automation Testing.
• Strong experience with WebdriverIO, Selenium, Appium, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing both iOS and Android apps manually and through automation.
• Experience with cloud execution platforms such as LambdaTest, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs.
• Experience with reporting frameworks like Allure.
• Ability to debug issues utilizing DevTools, ADB, Xcode tools, APIs, and logs.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines along with strong analytical skills.

Good to have

• MCP experience for test creation and self-healing automation.
• Exposure to performance, load, or security testing.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with test management tools like Jira and TestRail.
• Broader coding experience in Java, C#, or TypeScript with OOP fundamentals.
