Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions for complex problems with testable code.
- Take charge of individual project priorities, milestones, and software releases.
- Work alongside machine learning engineers to integrate ML-extracted data into the backend application stack.
- Partner with product managers and client teams to iterate on product requirements and design feasibility.
- Document software functionality, system design, and project plans clearly.
- Learn and advocate for engineering best practices and principles.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python or Java.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases.
- Experience utilizing serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to have
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience with DynamoDB and OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of front-end development.
- Experience in fintech within the wealth or portfolio management domain.
