Kaseya Careers is hiring a Software Engineer II (Development & Testing) in Pune, India. Kaseya is a leading provider of AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software, supporting MSPs and internal IT teams across more than 20 countries. In this hands-on role, you will help develop and maintain Kaseya's endpoint management agents across various platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices. A normal day involves designing and implementing new features, writing clean code, building automated test frameworks alongside feature creation, investigating production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams like Product, Support, and Security. You will own the full software lifecycle from design and deployment to telemetry and support, using AI-assisted development tools to build secure and scalable endpoint solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for endpoint agents across multiple operating systems and mobile platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while managing the entire software development lifecycle.
• Build automated tests and validation frameworks simultaneously with feature development.
• Investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and apply preventative solutions.
• Improve agent stability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Develop integrations with operating system management, security frameworks, and device management APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Cloud Platform, Security, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in system software, endpoint software, or platform services.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for building production-grade applications and services.
• Experience building automated tests and validation capabilities within the software lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience with Windows system programming concepts like Win32 APIs, Windows Services, and WMI.
• Solid knowledge of operating system fundamentals including processes, filesystems, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools like coding assistants or intelligent debugging solutions.

Good to have

• Experience with RMM, UEM, EDR, XDR, or endpoint security products.
• Knowledge of C, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple MDM, Android Enterprise, or Linux management platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
• Familiarity with endpoint telemetry, diagnostics, observability, and monitoring systems.
