Syndigo is looking for a Solution Architect in Bengaluru to own end-to-end solution and functional architecture for enterprise PXM, PIM, and MDM implementations. The company operates the industry's largest two-sided commerce network, helping thousands of brands and retailers ensure their product data is complete, trusted, and ready for modern commerce. In this role, you will act as the primary design authority, bridging business strategy with technical execution. A normal working day involves leading functional discovery workshops, defining data models and target-state architectures, collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams, and assessing whether customer data foundations are properly prepared for AI enrichment and agentic commerce while ensuring robust governance and risk reduction.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional discovery to understand business processes and define target-state objectives.
- Design and document data models, taxonomies, workflows, and business rules across PXM, PIM, and MDM.
- Produce clear Functional Specification Documents and define integration approaches.
- Assess and prepare customer data foundations for AI-driven enrichment and agentic consumption.
- Facilitate customer and partner workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
- Act as design authority to ensure architectural integrity against Syndigo best practices.
- Review solution changes and assess downstream impacts before approval.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, business analysis, or enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of PXM, PIM, MDM, or comparable data platforms and integration patterns.
- Deep grounding in data governance, data quality, taxonomy, and master data principles.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, REST services, and SQL for data analysis.
Good to have
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced credential.
- Data management certification such as CDMP or DAMA DMBOK alignment.
- Familiarity with Python and Postman for data inspection and API validation.
- Knowledge of GS1 standards, GDSN, and retailer content requirements.
