Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Genie) to join their global go-to-market team, focusing on early-stage, highly prioritized product lines to drive rapid revenue growth and market fit. In this role, you will work closely with Account Executives and direct account teams to engage clients, build technical credibility, and position specific product lines to help clients meet their business objectives. Databricks is a leading Data and AI company trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide to scale data and AI applications, analytics, and agents. A normal day in this role involves collaborating with go-to-market leadership and account teams to execute engagement strategies, serving as a trusted advisor and tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges, and conducting workshops or creating customer-facing collateral. You will also influence product roadmaps by sharing field insights with Product and Engineering teams, guiding customers through security and AI governance, and helping clients successfully adopt and expand their usage of Databricks technologies within public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across assigned territories with account teams.
• Serve as an expert Solutions Architect and technical champion to drive product adoption.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral.
• Influence product roadmaps by translating field insights into strategic recommendations.
• Act as a tier-3 escalation point to handle complex technical challenges for mission-critical environments.
• Co-plan large territories with Account Executives in a cross-functional effort.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role.
• Credibility in influencing analytics, BI, and natural-language or agentic AI products.
• Deep understanding of AI governance across tools and models to guide customers through security concerns.
• Experience architecting governed analytics solutions integrating semantic models and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Good to have

• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, AI, ML, governance, and streaming.
