NETGEAR is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for its Chennai office to lead the creation of a cloud-based Network Management System platform. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications for network device management, monitoring, and configuration
• Build responsive dashboards to display network topology, device status, performance metrics, and alerts
• Develop APIs and interfaces to manage diverse network hardware from multiple vendors
• Create interactive network topology maps and device relationship diagrams
• Build mobile applications for field technicians to remotely configure and troubleshoot network devices
• Implement real-time network performance monitoring, SNMP integration, and telemetry visualization
• Develop tools for bulk device configuration, firmware updates, and policy deployment
• Contribute to secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS platform architecture and RESTful APIs

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in React.js or Angular, TypeScript, D3.js, and WebSocket
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or Java for backend network management services
• Familiarity with network protocols like SNMP, SSH, Telnet, NETCONF, and REST APIs
• Experience with time-series and traditional databases
• Cloud platform experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP focusing on networking and auto-scaling
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 8-10 years of full-stack development experience including 3+ years in network management software

Good to have

• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Puppet
• Familiarity with network device APIs from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba
• Knowledge of WiFi standards and enterprise networking concepts
• Experience building SaaS platforms for enterprise customers
