As a UX Designer at NETGEAR in Chennai, you will build clear and engaging interfaces for consumer and enterprise networking solutions. NETGEAR is dedicated to unleashing connectivity through intelligent products that protect and connect people and businesses. On a normal day, your time will be spent partnering with engineering, product, and visual design teams to turn complex ideas into simple user journeys. You will plan user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, use AI tools to speed up prototyping, and maintain design systems. You will also test your designs with users and collaborate closely with developers to make sure the final product matches the intended experience across different platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct usability studies, user interviews, and surveys to discover user needs.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and design specs that follow the brand style.
• Use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Figma Make to speed up ideation and prototyping.
• Partner with engineers to ensure designs are built correctly across devices.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to iterate and improve usability.
• Maintain and update UX guidelines, component libraries, and style documentation.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant UX Design experience, ideally in enterprise, SaaS, or networking products.
• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Figma including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Figma Make for design workflows.
• Familiarity with usability testing platforms like UserTesting and Maze.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• A portfolio demonstrating your design process and previous outcomes.

Good to have

• Experience with B2B networking products
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum team environments
