Coupang is hiring a Sr. Security Engineer to join its team in Bengaluru for a full-time, hybrid position. Coupang aims to make shopping, eating, and living easier, disrupting the multi-billion-dollar e-commerce industry with the speed of a startup and the resources of a large global public company. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert to design, build, and optimize enterprise identity infrastructure. You will focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and continuous authorization frameworks. A normal day involves architecting and maintaining identity solutions across Okta, Saviynt, and SGNL, configuring access requests, developing automated scripts and API integrations, managing modern authentication and single sign-on, investigating identity-related threats, and partnering with compliance teams to enforce least-privilege principles and generate audit-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise identity solutions across Okta, Saviynt, and SGNL.
• Configure and optimize Saviynt for access requests, RBAC/ABAC, access certification, and provisioning workflows.
• Manage Okta configurations including SAML 2.0, OIDC, adaptive MFA, and directory integrations.
• Operationalize SGNL to enforce Zero Trust, Just-In-Time access, and continuous authorization policies.
• Develop custom connectors, workflows, and automated scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response to investigate identity threats and anomalous login behavior.
• Partner with Security Compliance to enforce least-privilege principles and remediate identity risk findings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in information security with a focus on IAM.
• Deep technical expertise in Okta including Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and SSO.
• Proven hands-on administration of Saviynt Enterprise IGA.
• Experience with modern continuous authorization architectures like SGNL.
• Understanding of identity standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and LDAP.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash alongside REST APIs.
• Solid grasp of Zero Trust Security frameworks and Least Privilege Access models.

Good to have

• Experience with Privileged Access Management integrations like CyberArk or BeyondTrust.
• Industry certifications such as Okta Certified Professional/Administrator/Consultant, Saviynt Certified Professional, CISSP, or CISM.
• Background in cloud identity security across AWS IAM, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, or GCP IAM.
