Addepar is seeking a Team Lead for ADM Operations to join its office in Pune, India. Addepar provides a global data and AI platform that helps investment professionals turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence, supporting thousands of firms worldwide. The Alternatives Data Ops team focuses on reviewing private funds documents through a human-in-the-loop process to ensure client data is accurate and processed efficiently. In a normal day, the Team Lead manages a team of analysts, serves as a subject matter expert, handles escalation points for operational issues, tracks performance metrics against SLAs, and collaborates with product, engineering, and machine learning teams to optimize document processing workflows. The role also involves communicating with external clients and fund administrators to resolve data inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of analysts and senior analysts to ensure timely delivery and effective work allocation.
• Act as a subject matter expert to support the team with complex document processing and exceptions.
• Perform quality reviews and assist with modifying data incorrectly extracted by machine learning models.
• Track and drive key performance metrics including SLA compliance, accuracy, and throughput.
• Partner with machine learning operations to identify and relabel documents for model retraining.
• Engage with clients, GPs, or fund admins regarding statement data inquiries.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to implement new processes and tooling features.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant role and domain.
• Minimum 2+ years of people team leader experience.
• Experience in private equity or alternatives investment processes.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and middle or back-office operations systems.
• Track record of excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders.
• Willingness to work overlapping US or EMEA shifts or flexible hours.

Good to have

• Experience dealing with alternatives private or draw-down funds reporting statements and data.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira or Confluence.
• Knowledge of SQL or Salesforce.
• Experience with other common financial services systems and applications.
