The Corporate Treasury & Capital Markets team at Paytm is seeking an experienced treasury professional for a strategic role based in Mumbai. In this position, you will help manage funding, liquidity, investments, banking relationships, debt capital markets, treasury operations, and regulatory compliance. A normal day in this on-roll role involves handling daily cash positioning, optimizing surplus funds, coordinating debt instruments like CPs and NCDs, overseeing banking platforms, monitoring debt portfolios, ensuring accurate treasury accounting, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership, banks, and rating agencies.

Responsibilities

• Structure, execute, and manage commercial papers, non-convertible debentures, and term loans.
• Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity, and surplus funds across money market and fixed-income investments.
• Drive cash-flow forecasting, working-capital optimization, and minimize idle cash.
• Manage strategic banking relationships, negotiate facilities and pricing, and oversee online banking platforms.
• Ensure accurate treasury accounting using SAP FICO/TRM and build management information systems for senior leadership.
• Handle regulatory compliance, monitor RBI and FEMA guidelines, and manage ROC and CERSAI filings.

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Treasury, Capital Markets, Banking, or Financial Institutions.
• CA, MBA Finance, CFA, or an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Finance.
• Strong hands-on experience in debt capital markets and corporate treasury.
• Exposure to commercial papers, non-convertible debentures, term loans, and debt fundraising.
• Strong understanding of liquidity, cash-flow management, and banking operations.
• Working knowledge of SAP FICO/TRM.
• Familiarity with RBI, FEMA, KYC, ROC, and CERSAI compliance and filings.
