In this role, you will lead the innovation and development of advanced managed switching solutions for small and medium enterprise (SME) markets, ranging from 10GB to 400GB. A normal day in this position involves driving breakthrough switching features, optimizing cost-performance for SME price points, researching networking pain points, collaborating with product management and field teams, and designing switching architectures that balance advanced enterprise capabilities with deployment simplicity.

Responsibilities

• Drive breakthrough innovations in SME-focused switching features including zero-touch provisioning and cloud management.
• Lead the development of enterprise-grade features optimized for SME deployments like automated VLANs and traffic prioritization.
• Innovate cost-effective solutions delivering enterprise functionality at SME price points while sustaining performance.
• Research SME networking pain points to build innovative software solutions for simplified network management.
• Drive technical differentiation through ML-based anomaly detection, capacity planning, and predictive maintenance.
• Design switching architectures balancing advanced features with SME deployment simplicity and cost constraints.
• Collaborate with product management and field teams to identify market opportunities and drive product innovation.
• Lead technical competitive analysis to maintain market leadership in SME managed switching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 10 to 12 years of embedded switching software development focused on product delivery.
• 5+ years of experience developing SME networking products or similar market-focused solutions.
• Deep expertise in switching ASIC architectures optimized for SME market requirements.
• Expert-level knowledge of Broadcom SDK optimization for cost-effective, high-performance SME solutions.
• Advanced experience with complete product development from conception to market delivery.
• Proven track record of delivering innovative networking products with measurable business impact.

Good to have

• Experience with design thinking, rapid prototyping, and customer-driven innovation processes.
• Experience in driving the adoption of AI/ML, edge computing, and IoT integration in switching solutions.
• Track record of patent development in SME networking and switching technology.
