Razorpay Software Private Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager, Vigilance in Bengaluru. Razorpay is a leading full-stack financial technology company founded in 2014, helping businesses move, manage, and grow money across India and Southeast Asia through smart stacks, AI-native payments, fraud detection, and automated payouts. In this role, you will manage and strengthen engagement with national and state-level law enforcement and government agencies. A normal day involves supporting investigations, handling sensitive escalations, identifying potential risks, maintaining case trackers and MIS reports, facilitating timely responses to official inquiries, and working closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams under the supervision of the Sr. Vigilance Director.

Responsibilities

• Build liaison and foster effective communication between Razorpay and national and state law enforcement and government agencies.
• Provide necessary support for nationwide investigations with maturity and discretion during challenging situations.
• Collaborate with internal and external counsels on emergencies, escalations, and engagements directed at Razorpay.
• Facilitate clear, timely written and verbal responses to inquiries from law enforcement and government bodies.
• Identify potential threats to the company and employees while proactively defusing escalating situations.
• Conduct investigations under the supervision of the Sr. Vigilance Director to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Plan and promote law enforcement meetings, conferences, and training sessions, and represent Razorpay at external events.
• Maintain accurate case trackers, documentation, and MIS reports for management.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of minimum experience in law enforcement or financial crime investigation.
• Mandatory law background with proficiency in the Indian Judicial System and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and regional languages.
• Prior field exposure or liaison experience with Law Enforcement Agencies.
• Willingness and ability to travel within India as needed.

Good to have

• Strong understanding of the Payment Aggregator (PA) and Payment Gateway (PG) industry.
• Experience in case management and regulatory compliance.
