In the Group Manager, Banking Alliance role based in Bengaluru, you will be a key driver of strategic financial partnerships. Razorpay empowers millions of enterprises by building smart, scalable payment stacks, leveraging AI-native solutions, and collaborating closely with ecosystem networks and regulators. On a normal day, this role involves managing end-to-end strategic bank partnerships, driving revenue growth through bank channel sales, launching banking programs, and leading RFP coordination. You will also collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and travel regularly to nurture multi-level stakeholder relationships with partner banks and NBFCs, ensuring seamless execution and long-term value alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end strategic bank partnerships for long-term value.
• Drive revenue growth through sales enabled by bank channels.
• Lead the end-to-end rollout of banking programs for seamless execution.
• Position Razorpay POS as the preferred partner for bank merchant acquiring.
• Build multi-level stakeholder relationships with product and business teams at partner banks.
• Lead RFP preparation, submission, and coordination with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate across internal functions to deliver on partner objectives.
• Travel regularly to engage with bank and NBFC partners on-ground.

Requirements

• 10 to 12 years of overall experience
• Experience in a bank’s merchant acquiring or payments business preferred
• Proven background in banking partnerships, alliances, or channel sales
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams
• Practical experience using LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude
• Ability to identify manual bottlenecks and apply AI or automation tools
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to improve partner engagement and efficiency

• Experience in RFP preparation
