In this role, you will help power mobile QR solutions and robust systems designed to serve millions of users across the country. Your primary focus will involve designing scalable architectures, driving high-scale backend systems, optimizing APIs, and championing engineering excellence. A normal day in this position combines hands-on coding and system design with mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and actively leveraging AI and GPT tools to accelerate prototyping, architecture planning, and overall developer productivity. You will work on critical, live platforms that impact real users daily, helping shape the next generation of scalable financial infrastructure without bureaucratic hurdles.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and resilient backend architectures
• Coach engineers and lead technology-first projects
• Drive backend systems supporting over 100 million daily active users
• Optimize APIs to achieve sub-50ms latencies
• Utilize AI tools for architecture design, code reviews, and prototyping
• Promote engineering best practices and mentor team members

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
• Proven ownership of high-scale distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of microservices, messaging systems, and caching
• Experience with storage optimization and cloud scalability
• Clear architectural thinking for designing massive transaction systems
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and code reviews
• AI-first mindset with familiarity using GPT and AI coding tools
