CertifyOS is building the data infrastructure that powers modern healthcare by solving fragmented and outdated provider data issues through an API-first platform. This platform automates provider licensing, enrollment, credentialing, and network monitoring by connecting directly to primary data sources. As an Engineering Manager at CertifyOS in Bengaluru, you will lead high-performing engineering teams and combine people leadership with product development, technical strategy, architecture, and execution. On a normal day, you will engage with engineers at a technical level, partner closely with Product and Design teams, make sound architectural decisions for complex systems, and drive the adoption of AI-native engineering practices, AI tooling, RAG, and agentic workflows to deliver scalable and reliable customer-facing products.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams building scalable, reliable, customer-facing products.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development and AI engineering tools across teams.
- Own engineering delivery for customer-facing products from discovery through launch and operation.
- Design and guide modern full-stack, cloud-native, and distributed system architecture.
- Build, lead, and retain high-performing engineering teams through effective people leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant technical leadership experience.
- 3+ years of engineering management or equivalent technical leadership experience.
- Strong background in product development from discovery to continuous improvement.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
- Understanding of AI/LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents.
Good to have
- Experience with Kafka and messaging systems.
- Working knowledge of React and modern frontend development.
- Experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous systems.
