- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of domain datasets including ingestion, transformation, and deprecation.
- Set and enforce standards for data modeling, transformation patterns, testing, and code review.
- Manage freshness, accuracy, and availability SLAs for critical datasets and oversee incident response.
- Partner with Analytics, Marketing, and Product leaders to translate business needs into reliable data products.
- Manage the compute and storage cost of domain pipelines to drive efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform team to drive adoption of self-serve tooling.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
- 3+ years of direct experience managing engineers.
- Hands-on background with SQL, Python, and Spark.
- Production experience building and operating ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
- Deep expertise in data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Experience owning business-critical datasets end-to-end with accountability for SLAs.
- Hands-on experience with a modern cloud warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
