Quince is a direct-to-consumer brand focused on offering high-quality essentials at low, sustainable prices through an innovative manufacturer-to-consumer model. The company seeks a Principal Product Manager for its Sourcing team based in Bengaluru to lead Factory Tech. In this role, you will own the Factory OS platform end-to-end, which is the proprietary software used by global supply partners, mills, and vendors to manage factory floor operations such as planning, scheduling, quality, and compliance. A normal day involves designing core operational workflows, visiting factories to understand real-world manufacturing challenges, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and operations teams, and driving the strategy for AI and automation in production software to replace outdated spreadsheets with robust, reliable systems of record.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Factory OS product strategy, roadmap, specs, and adoption metrics.
• Design core operational workflows for production planning, scheduling, capacity, and order tracking.
• Build compliance, traceability, and auditability directly into the platform from day one.
• Drive daily adoption and manage change management on the factory floor with vendors and mills.
• Define and execute the AI and automation thesis, integrating agents and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, ML, design, sourcing, and factory operations teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience including senior or principal ownership of complex B2B SaaS or operational software.
• Direct experience building workflow-automation software that transforms manual operational processes.
• Domain proximity to manufacturing, supply chain, or operations software such as ERP, MES, or planning systems.
• A credible point of view and practical experience regarding AI and agents in production software.
• A track record of building compliance-sensitive products requiring auditability and traceability.
• Hands-on AI fluency using modern tools daily for discovery, prototyping, and spec-writing.
• Comfort working directly in the field with vendors and mills in physical, real-world operational environments.

Good to have

• Experience building software used by external partners and suppliers rather than only internal users.
• Background in apparel, textiles, consumer goods, or hard-goods manufacturing supply chains.
