Razorpay Software Private Limited is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for Agent Studio in Bengaluru. Razorpay is a leading full-stack financial technology company powering businesses across India, Singapore, and Malaysia with digital payment solutions, AI-native agentic payments, and fraud detection. In this role, you will act as a bridge between the company and strategic merchants. Agent Studio helps merchants run AI agents across various workflows like checkout, disputes, and subscriptions. Your normal day involves sitting directly with merchants, discovering real constraints, designing tailored solutions, building the first working version, and ensuring it delivers measurable business results. You will own the technical relationship from start to finish, combining solution consulting with hands-on software development to solve complex merchant problems without handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end merchant conversations, including discovery calls, workshops, and solution reviews.
• Analyze merchant workflows to uncover real processes and reconcile conflicting business signals.
• Convert vague merchant problems into clear agent specifications with defined guardrails and success metrics.
• Build prototypes, connectors, glue code, and dashboards to integrate AI agents into production.
• Debug integration failures across Razorpay systems, merchant infrastructure, and external model behavior.
• Track production outcomes to measure whether agents successfully move target metrics.
• Turn repeated field patterns into reusable Agent Studio capabilities and platform features.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of experience shipping production software with strength in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience working directly with customers, enterprise stakeholders, or operators while owning technical relationships.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs, webhooks, auth, data pipelines, and production debugging.
• Practical experience with LLMs and agents, including prompts, tool calling, RAG, evals, or workflow automation.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and prefer high-context problems over clean tickets.
• Capability to define structure out of ambiguous problems and drive them toward clear resolution.
