Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Manager for Medical Information to join the Medical Affairs team in Hyderabad. As a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company, Azurity focuses on delivering innovative, patient-centric treatments across various therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, neurology, endocrinology, and more, helping millions of underserved patients. In this role, you will act as a vital link between the company and healthcare providers by managing unsolicited medical information inquiries, providing clinical and technical product knowledge, and contributing to scientific communications. A normal day in this position involves handling urgent medical inquiries, supporting the Medical Information Call Center, updating standard response letters, analyzing metric reports to identify trends, and collaborating closely with cross-functional internal partners including marketing, regulatory, and legal teams to ensure scientifically balanced materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical product knowledge to answer inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Respond accurately and promptly to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare providers and payers.
• Support the Medical Information Call Center by guiding escalated cases and training staff.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge databases like standard response letters and FAQ documents.
• Analyze metric reports to spot trends and provide quarterly updates to internal stakeholders.
• Review new data proactively to keep medical information resources current.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support the Promotional Material Review Committee and Scientific Review Committee.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments like Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Legal.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 or more years of professional experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information within a pharmaceutical company.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in a contact or call center working on behalf of a pharmaceutical company.
• Confirm mental and physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities without restrictions.
• Inform HR in advance of any concerns or disabilities that may affect job performance.

Good to have

• An advanced degree in health sciences such as a PharmD or PhD.
• Masters or bachelor's level degree in health sciences including RN, RPh, PA, or NP.
• Medical or drug information postdoctoral training or fellowship in a specialty.
• Residency and or postdoctoral training in a clinical practice or pharmaceutical industry setting.
