Working within the FlashArray team, your role focuses on ensuring that high-performance storage products and features ship with exceptional quality. A normal day in this role involves creating system test designs, building automation tools, identifying systemic hardware issues early, analyzing failure domains, and continuously closing test gaps to ensure product resilience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure FlashArray and FlashBlade products and features ship with the highest quality.
• Create system test designs focusing on FlashArray and FlashBlade.
• Find statistical and systemic hardware issues earlier in programs.
• Design and build tools to efficiently execute and triage a large number of test scripts.
• Understand feature inner workings to target failure domains and make products fault tolerant.
• Continuously identify test gaps, perform root cause analysis, and close the loop on customer defects.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on automation in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of system testing using end-to-end automation.
• Familiarity with running Jenkins environments.
• Familiarity with X86 hardware designs, BMC BIOS, networking, and system software aspects.
• Experience in developing test strategies for server hardware validation.

Good to have

• Exposure to enterprise products in cloud and container platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack, and Oracle deployment use cases.
• Experience with multiple operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
