As a core member of an agile engineering group, your primary mission involves designing and delivering zero-downtime algorithms that directly shape enterprise storage and public cloud offerings. A normal day in this role involves collaborating closely with global systems engineers and product teams to tackle complex technical challenges, writing high-throughput code, extending core platform capabilities into public cloud environments like AWS, optimizing storage internals, reviewing code with peers, and translating intricate technical requirements into scalable, real-world solutions that help thousands of global enterprises manage and protect their data seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance algorithms for enterprise storage products to ensure platform reliability and six-nines availability.
• Extend core platform capabilities into public cloud environments such as AWS to drive performance and agility.
• Analyze and resolve complex systems software challenges to optimize storage internals and contribute to platform upgrades.
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering peers to review code, refine architecture, and maintain high engineering standards.
• Translate complex technical challenges into scalable, real-world solutions for global enterprise applications.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in systems programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java.
• Practical exposure to core systems domains like distributed systems, Linux kernel internals, database engines, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable software solutions within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work from the Bengaluru, India office in compliance with company policies.
• Commitment to participating in agile engineering groups and delivering end-to-end features from concept to release.

• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS.
