The company focuses on the technology ecosystem, including hyperscalers and AI labs. In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will build custom web-based analytics products instead of relying on standard BI tools. A normal day involves taking ambiguous business questions from departments like Finance and People, modeling the data in SQL, designing user interfaces, and shipping working web applications. You will use AI and GenAI tools to accelerate prototyping and work directly with stakeholders who depend on your dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Own analytics products end-to-end from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Design and ship custom web-based dashboards using AI and GenAI tools.
- Build clean, well-documented data models in SQL and partner with engineering.
- Create thoughtful visual designs and information hierarchy for executives and analysts.
- Translate complex data analysis into clear narratives for senior leadership.
- Explore and deploy AI-powered analytics capabilities like natural-language querying.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in an analytics function.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Proven ability to build and deploy web-based analytics applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Streamlit, Dash, or Plotly.
- Genuine visual design sense focusing on layout, spacing, and color.
- Self-sufficiency in running the full product lifecycle independently.
- Strong communication skills to influence senior leaders.
