As a Member of Technical Staff for Drive Qual at Everpure in Bangalore, you will join the Drive Qualification Center of Excellence to ensure the reliability and performance of company-developed SSDs for enterprise and hyperscale environments. A normal day in this role involves collaborating closely with hardware and firmware teams, creating validation frameworks, running system-level tests, and building automated scripts. You will tackle complex technical problems, perform data-driven analysis, and utilize telemetry and logs to find root causes of failures. Your daily tasks also include designing automated suites for stress-testing, scaling regression infrastructure, and providing risk assessments to help drive product readiness. This position requires working from the Bangalore office in a collaborative setting dedicated to shaping the next era of storage technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated validation suites focusing on PCIe, NVMe, and OCP compliance.
• Drive technical root-cause analysis for system and firmware failures using logs and telemetry.
• Scale regression infrastructure and improve test coverage for next-generation NAND technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clear risk assessments and quality metrics.
• Develop custom Python validation tools and scripts for stress-testing drive-level behaviors.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PCIe and NVMe protocols with understanding of SSD architecture and storage hardware.
• Advanced programming skills in Python for building automated testing frameworks.
• Track record of debugging hardware and software interfaces in a lab environment.
• Hands-on experience with tools like LeCroy, DriveMaster, or OakGate.
• Ability to work from the Everpure office in Bangalore.
