As a Member of Technical Staff for the FlashArray team, you will join an agile engineering group focused on building high-performance, resilient storage software for mission-critical applications worldwide. Your daily responsibilities will center on designing and delivering zero-downtime algorithms, expanding core platform capabilities into public cloud environments like AWS, and partnering with multidisciplinary engineering peers. You will spend your time analyzing complex systems software challenges, optimizing storage internals, writing scalable code, and participating in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. Through this role, you will help thousands of global enterprises seamlessly manage, protect, and scale their data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance algorithms for enterprise storage products.
• Ensure platform reliability and end-to-end delivery from concept to release with high availability.
• Extend core platform capabilities into public cloud environments such as AWS.
• Analyze and resolve complex systems software challenges and optimize storage internals.
• Contribute to continuous platform upgrades and distributed software projects.
• Partner with multidisciplinary engineering peers to review code and refine architecture.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in systems programming languages like C, C++, Python, Go, or Java.
• Practical exposure to core systems domains such as distributed systems or Linux kernel internals.
• Familiarity with database engines, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable software solutions.
