As a Member of Technical Staff for FlashArray in Bangalore, India, you will serve as a key leader on the engineering team. Your primary focus will involve driving performance benchmarking strategies for high-performance storage solutions across both on-premises and public cloud environments. A normal day in this role requires you to lead performance execution, mentor top-tier software engineers, and optimize mission-critical product capabilities. You will also collaborate closely with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to convert real-world customer workflows into robust performance standards. Responsibilities

• Define, research, and execute end-to-end performance benchmarking frameworks across FlashArray products.
• Ensure optimal throughput, low latency, and maximum platform efficiency for storage solutions.
• Partner with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to validate real-world customer scenarios.
• Translate complex operational requirements into actionable performance planning and best practices.
• Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and continuous mentorship to engineering team members.
• Optimize performance metrics across physical hardware platforms and cloud architectures like CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store.
• Work from the Bangalore, India office in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Deep technical foundation in systems-level programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java.
• Proven experience architecting solutions in operating systems, distributed systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
• Demonstrated track record of leading software engineering teams in performance engineering.
• Experience establishing benchmarking metrics and driving product quality for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Strong collaborative skills and design acumen with a history of solving complex architectural challenges.
• Ability to work in an in-office environment from the Bangalore, India location.
